Scarborough soccer player off to national showcase | The Forecaster.
Scarborough, Maine freshman Garrett King and his teammates from the Seacoast United boys’ U-13/14 U.S. Soccer Development Academy will travel to Indiana this month to compete in a national showcase organized by U.S. Soccer. Seacoast will play against teams from California, Georgia and Texas. King is a starting center-fullback.

The team is coached by Peter Decker and Corlton Simmond and consists of elite youth soccer players from New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.
The Seacoast boys will play 3 games in 4 days against teams from Texas, Georgia and California. The event takes place at Grand Park in Westfield, IN from June 13-16th and is well attended by college and U.S. Youth National Team scouts.
