Ten years ago, in 2003, my dad celebrated his 56th birthday today…never thinking for an instant that he’d only get to see one more snowstorm, enjoy one more bloom of the crocus in his yard or laugh at one more birthday party of his (then) four year old grandson.
Now, ten years later, I’ll share a thought and a prayer with him today instead of a phone call or visit.
Yet, still, the snow will fall, soon the crocus will bloom, and thankfully, on this day, we are reminded to always celebrate…life.
If you live the life you have imagined, imagine the life you will live.
